Summary:
North of the Arctic Circle, the sun hardly ever sets in summer.
Food is plentiful, but animals and plants face great challenges. Summer is short, and there's little time to raise a new generation. Around the clock, it's all about growing, eating, feeding, and hunting. But lack of sleep, mosquitoes, and the constant threat of predators spread hecticness and stress. Thus, deadly danger and abundant life lie close together in the realm of the midnight sun.

A race against time begins, as the long hours of the bright polar day are as interminable as those of the dark polar night. Both extremes are immensely challenging for both flora and fauna in this landscape but nature has an answer for everything.
