While Giovanni tries to get his first Afghan refugees off the ground, Vera, guided by one of General Hassan's soldiers, arrives at a Taliban camp where the general is believed to be imprisoned. At the same time, Amina flees the hospital with little Nooria, while her brother, Fazal, under American orders, infiltrates an Islamic State cell preparing an attack.
