well i guess david has a new truck and a new recording contract, cant wait to
hear his album...
p.s. you have to watch this and see who won, unless you watched it already... to
the ones who thought i would say the "last" name...... you lose:)
but i will give away one part of the show, "i am your brother" guy returns,
funny clip and worth me falling out my chair to the song once again.

i thought the best voice won. i would hope that some intense vocal sessions,
some stagecraft sessions, and (oh please) a hair appointment or two should be
included before they turn david loose on a record contract.
a little more polish and either of them would sell a record i'd be likely to buy.

my take on both finalists.
younger david. great voice.. amazing voice actually. he made one republic
vocalist look amateur. he'll go into the studio and knock out song after song
in one go. however, his stage presence is lacking in my opinion. he looks
very awkward performing many a time. and yet the fans, mainly of the female
persuasion, love him. that being said, the girls loved jonas brothers too..
and i felt jonas brothers performance was shitty. they're all entertainment
and low on singing talent.
older david. he's an innovator of sorts.. has that very rock sound. his voice
was perfect for that hero song.. by chad kroeger i think? his performance with
zz top, allbeit with less emphasis on singing talent, was a great performance.
his vices are these.. he seems very stoic at times but that's not a fair
assessment since i think he is passionate about what he does. also he's almost
a little too chill for his own good. like he's way too calm even during jay
leno interview.. inserting his brand of dry humor heh. that's not so much a
knock on him as much as an observation i guess.
on a torrent note. i seeded this badboy well. i thought this finale was one
of the best finales i've seen in a long time.
