guys i keep getting tracker error from every torrent from the pirate bay tracker
(can't even look on the bay's website, it's down!)!
is there some other tracker or fix?
admin : tpb is fine your isp is blocking it. use utorrent, have dht on and be
patient it will connect to the swarm but can take some time.
[bangs head on desk repeatedly] why didn't i just read just a little bit further
up the page and the comments about it before getting 470mb of the first version!
:-/ it's not like it wasn't there to see!
thanks for the repack with (hopefully, since i haven't downloaded it yet) nice
sync'd audio.
yeppa: i had a few issues getting onto tpb website earlier as well. don't think
it was my isp though (although who knows, maybe it was), since it seems to have
fixed itself now without me changing anything, or even restarting anything.
surely a hdtv can display a hd program right out of the box, up to the
resolution of the screen? shipping a tv that needs a professional to set it up
so you can see things in hd just sounds odd. yes, i'd guess the tech could
optimise brightness/contrast/colour settings depending on your lighting
conditions, but surely if you throw a full hd signal at a hdtv you should at
least be able to pick out all the fine detail with it, even if the colour, etc,
settings are not optimised? it's not like a crt tv where if it's blurry there
was generally nothing you could do about it.
why do i say that? simple: you don't need to get a techie in to service your
shiny new hd lcd computer monitor to get the full detail level out of it. the
factory default still allows you to get a sharp detailed image at the full
screen resolution, as long as your os/game/etc is set to the correct resolution
and colour depth. the auto adjust should take care of the image
sizing/positioning settings (sometimes you've got to hit the auto button again)
and the only things you really need to worry about are brightness, contrast, and
colour settings to your taste.
i guess i'm also looking from a techie's/geek's perspective and i figure i'd
likely mess with the settings myself until i was happy.
