check the page for dexter in show list from
main page, i cant
post the link here...
the dvd screener has been released as 350 mb, so probably uploaders saw no
need to put the same thing up once again and went straight for the 720p.
i am really curious as to whether this release is proper though, i guess i will
just download it and hope not to see a "proper/repack" release after my
download
has already completed 75%. many, many, many thanks to the uploaders, i am aware
that even if there will be a proper release, it is not their bad but the
broadcasters'.
do you just enjoy being an ass or something? pretty much every post i ever see
from you is some rude pointless comment that the world be better without.
@copcecan
you can't put a quote inside a quote on these forums (at least, not that i've
been able to do... or it's only recently broken...), so you need to put them one
after another. even though when you hit quote, it tries to do it like that
(which is asking for problems like this, but bleh).
anyways, to the episode. is anyone else having audio sync problems? for me it's
out by like a fraction of a second (and yes, my comp is far far more than enough
for it).
thanks alex2069, nice to find someone who shares my opinion!!!
sync issue is definitely my nightmare coming true, as i am still downloading and
it looks like its gonna take forever to complete! anyhow, i will send feedback
if and when that time comes...
it's great when users help others out. had he been spewing out nonsensical
flames or something, fair enough. but in this case there's really no need for
snide comments.
anyways, this is the 720p version - high definition. much higher quality. while
it's not required to have it in the mkv format, for memory they use the h.264
codec and it's generally accepted to use the mkv format with it (wikipedea for
more info on them both).
one reason you might be confused, is usually the 720p version is released after
the "normal" (~350mb) version... which is actually why i'm posting.
i was always planing to wait for the 720p version (love dexter), and was
expecting it to be released like 1-2 hours after the normal one... what happened
to the normal one? lol
cheers, though for the record i'm not actually new to this (though i'm obviously
not overly informed on it)
i never bother with the hi-res versions, as oz has limited bandwidth. it would
take ages to download this here...1.4gb is big for just one 40min show. besides
i usually just watch these on my little creative zen player on the way to work
yeh, i was expecting the first version out to be lo-res as is usually the case
i've honestly never seen the mkv file format before from ez, but i guess i
haven't been looking

alex2069, why yes i do…….
so fine, i will do as copcecan asks and explain, just for you alex2069
yes you can…….. ht tps://eztv.it/shows/363/dexter/
no, they always release a 350m (or 561m for longer shows) hdtv version its just
this ep’s release was nuked before it trickled down to p2p level
dexter s03e01 hdtv xvid-2hd [ nuke ] [ dexter.s03e01.hdtv.xvid-2hd ] [ grp.req ]
the use of the term proper when referring to a normal release is just wrong
and although some if not very few releases are nuked due to broadcast issues,
the majority of faults occur in the capture/conversion process
and i am not arrogant, i am an ass, just ask alex2069 🙂
now that i look mkv is indeed used quite a bit...! i obviously have never looked
twice at hi-res downloads, far too big for australia's sh#tbox broadband
and i am not arrogant, i am an ass, just ask alex2069 🙂
oh i hate you so much right now, lol.
episode note: i had the 300ms delay on for the entire episode. i was expecting
to notice it "back in sync" at 18 min, but it's the entire episode that's out
(checked after i'd watched it as well).
since the entire episode is out, it's not too serious a problem... it's when it
varies that it's a pain in the ass.
