does anybody know if there's likely to be a 720p rip later?
i loved series one of chuck, so am looking forward to seeing series two, but
i'm holding out to see if a hd rip will be forthcoming.
did anyone else have any problems with this episode??
it works fine on my computer, but when i tried to play it on my tv's dvd
player the picture was going really slow, but the audio was normal. - i tried
other avi's and they worked fine on there.
admin : this is something we have seen over and over. there are, shall i say
variations in the encoding and older dvd player firmware cannot deal with it but
the codec on your pc can. this is a bit simplified but as this was discussed to
death in the past not going in there. there are also ways to fix it. one is to
try and re-encode with divx. anybody with a good advice please jump in.

unfortunately my codec can't. tried haali, ffdshow, k-lite, corecodec and the
lot but i keep having the same problem when trying .mkv with mpc, vlc, kmp (very
good player btw, less sync troubles as far as i noticed). something outdated on
my pc? i have pentium centrino m 1gb ddr.
q: is there a loss in quality/pixels if one re-encodes 720p?
admin : you want to play 720p mkv files correct? could be your pc is a bit
weak especially if vlc does not work like you get the sound but the picture lags
back, decomposes, recomposes, etc...
you can try mpc with coreavc (the real one, the one you buy on their web site)
and ac3.
admin : no is not a misunderstanding. but if you are so poor that you cannot
afford a few bucks to pay for people's effort then i feel sorry for you. and if
you prefer to use software you do not know the source and consequences then
again i feel sorry for you. more than one has been bitten that way
