anyone who writes to say that the quality of downloads from eztv is less than
brilliant needs to pull their head in. i have been a heavy user (and seeder)
of eztv for almost 2 years and have never ever had a bad download- it has
always been my isp to blame. seeing as i live down under, most of my fav shows
aren't shown here or have a huge time lag between the usofa and oz. i only use
the mininova mirror if the eztv prime mirror is not working....very
infrequently i might add. eztv is doing this for free and with little
gratitude you dolts who complain....kudos,props & hi5's to eztv for the great
work they do...thank you from little ole oz.

i agree, it's not like service was guaranteed, if downloads are slow it's
because of isp, programs used and leechers, blaming eztv is stupid and people
complaining have nothing to do here. been using eztv for over a year now and i
say we should all be thankful for the mere fact it exists.

how about copying vcdquality's system of rating quality? just a single
column with 3 numbers for video/audio/episode quality. of course, for the most
part it would be 10/10/??, but it might mean people are less reliant of the
comment system.
it would probably be a lot of work to implement tho.

hi, now its my turn to tell everyone what i think of eztv and the quality of
the files provided by them.
i found this site by accident when i was new to downloading about 18 months
ago and boy was i impressed.
first the order of the site, i very rarely go elsewhere, why would you.
most of the time if it out its on eztv and if it not mininova has it and you
can be assured of a safe virus free download if you use eztv themselves.
now to the quality of the files i have downloaded. sometimes there may be a
glitch in the file as noted by others but i usually cant find any problems.
the quality is 10 out of 10 both for audio and video. i still wonder how they
do it so quickly and so beautifully.
what more can i say about eztv.
you are the best site ever and you wonderful people do it for free
i live in oz and only download cause tv over here is so slow to get the latest
tv series. most of the time they dont even bother so in australia eztv fills a
huge gap.
not positive but i think we are only up to season 2 of stargate atlantis on
free to air tv just to show you how far behind we are.
the download speeds dont really come into it but i will add never have a
problem with eztv, most just roar down in no time at all.
once again eztv rocks
so good folk hope i didnt bore you but we have a real good deal with eztv and
we have to look after our treasures like eztv.

downloading other things for other websites and did multiple speed test and they

welcome to the world of filesharing ... if you think your torrent d/l is slow i
suggest trying ed2k or kad for a change ... you might get to complete the first
episode d/l when the whole season has actually aired. then again ... you could
wait for the dvd/bluray box release in that case.

i'd like to remind all of you that eztv is not actually a capping group. they don't capture tv
episodes, they host and seed episodes captured by other groups. as such, they have very little
control over the actual media quality. if the cappers don't provide a good cap of an episode, then
there is nothing eztv could do to make it any better, as seen, for example, with the current season
of leverage - the quality is low, but there just isn't anything eztv could do about it.
if you want to talk about "eztv quality", then the topics you should look at are download speeds,
amount of high speed seeds, site functionality and dependability, all fields that eztv scores high
in (well, aside of site functionality, there's some hiccups, but they just redid the site so it's
understandable that sometimes things go wrong).
talking about eztv and episode media quality in the same sentence is like saying that aol has a high
quality of google.
