greetings from nz ellman12. it looks like 8 episodes according to www.imdb.com 
who i rely on when
eztv doesn't show when a prog is on a break. ser 6 and 7 were 10 and 8 episodes respectively so
sounds about right.

it's not common in the uk for a season to go beyond 12 - 14 episodes, while in the us a standard
season hangs around 20 - 24 episodes.
the bbc does not air commercial breaks during tv shows, so if a show is advertised as going for one
hour, it's actual duration is one hour. rather than 42 minutes + time for commercials and other
non-program material.
