winamp can play mkv files which is what i use. you have to change a setting to get it to work though.

input > double click "nullsoft directshow decoder..."

also, matroska splitter and ffdshow may need to be installed for video playback to function
properly.

hopefully the normal 350mb avi file comes out soon it's weird that it's taking so long it's normally
out withing hours of the show ending i don't recall it ever taking over a full day before
