why are these things appearing on the home page now? they\'ve moved everything off the bottom of the screen for most
users, which is annoying that you can no longer view the time and date stamp for the us postings on the same screen as
the latest releases. it has inconvenienced the user-friendliness of the home page.

they may be great items of massive importance (i\'m not saying they aren\'t), but if i want to know about them i\'ll click their
listings to find out more on their normal info page. sorry, but this simply addition has wrecked the usability of the main
page. having to continually scroll up and down the page after reloading to see what time it is in the us and what the latest
releases are is an extra inconvenience brought on by the addition of this \'featured release\' section. they used to be visible
on the same screen, but no longer. it\'s irritating and presumably not what you were trying to achieve.

i have a 6 year old computer and i am unable to play high def codecs like h264. is there a chance
that the featured releases will be available as a regular .avi? thanks

sorry to see you are having such an immense time scrolling up and down. but this feature will not go
away. if you have issues with it, then there are plenty of other places you can obtain your shows.
but we are not going to change what we believe in achieving with the website because you have an
issue scrolling a website.

bunch of whiners; shouldn't they be doing their home work?

and thank you eztv, if the in guantanamo piece hadn't been featured, i would have probably missed
the opportunity to watch a well written show that covers a very important issue...so, if you want
family guy, it's here...but if you want a little social conscious thrown in; you've got that too.

so stfu and learn something

keep up the great work eztv

i live in australia and really don't care what the us date/time stamp is on the site. never even looked at it.
if what i'm after is there, then yayy for me. if not, i wait a bit longer - life goes on!

if i was paying for a deadline to be met, i wouldn't be here would i?

would bevis be happy with the new products i've seen out there - i think they're called 'clocks' or something?

or he could change the time on his pc ($100 says he's not a mac user!) so it's always on us time...

good on you eztv for not only entertaining us, but informing as well. using our brains is actually good for us!

sorry, we have no control over the content, i would suggest visiting the vodo website and sending
them an email with your concerns.

'bevis'.. appropriate somehow....

i presume you think the name i use here is beavis. the two words are spelt and pronounced completely differently. but
whatever.

as for my opinion, i'm sorry you don't like it, but i'm entitled to it. i asked the question, i got a snippy answer. figures. i
can accept novaking's answer (even if it was clear that he was offended by me saying it doesn't interest me and has
moved any visible recent activity from the homepage), but there's no need for others to attempt to insult me for raising
the matter. i wouldn't (and don't) do that to others. only the most jaded and insular seem to respond like that.

i love eztv and won't be going elsewhere. i don't recall making any such claim anyway. no need to get so uptight.

i'm a mac user from australia, btw. as if any of that matters. it's the fact that i'm not from the us that the time and date
stamp is so important - it tells me when something will be released in us time based on when it airs over there. (up there
for thinking!)

a simple 'no' was all that was needed. getting your panties in a bunch and attacking my character and credibility (as well
as an ignorant and pathetic attempt to insult me using my login name) were not only uncalled for - they show how little
tolerance you have for speaking to people respectfully and civility. that's all i've seen anywhere on this site.

i can scroll the website if i have to. i was trying to point out something you may not have considered. the site is for
downloading torrents, no? when the mainpage loads, there are no recent torrents visible. that's all i'm saying. perhaps
the answers lies in having a 'recent torrents' box up the top or something? i'm trying to float ideas and solutions, not get
involved in a bitch fight about usernames and petty squabbles based on the issue i've pointed out.

but i hope you feel okay about yourselves. after all, how only you feel is what's important.

novaking, i sent you a polite pm about the time/date stamp thing yesterday. there was no whinging or snippiness about
it, but i don't expect to hear back from you now, despite repeated compliments all across this site for more than a year
now. sorry for trying to help you improve the features. i supply feedback on websites for a living, so was giving you
some free details of user experience for you to do what you wanted with. including ignoring it - that's totally your call.
doesn't mean anyone should be so rude about receiving the feedback.

nice point bevis xd

by the way i have also noticed nova king is in my opinion a 'short tempered intolerant "dick"' love
the site dislike that guys 'attitude' and judgeing by the trolls here thought i would add to the
trolling xd

admin:
i think you chose the wrong guy to dislike based on attitude. now i'm going to have to ask nova to
implement a big red ban button for me with the word "dick" on it. guess who the first victim will be.

in the wise words of george carlin: "would somebody just put a dick in that guy's mouth."

of course i am short tempered intolerant "dick". i work my arse off to provide something to the
masses and get annoyed when i get people give me shit over idiotic things. now, if you want to take
this discussion away from this thread so it can be more about the actual documentary i would be more
than welcome to being the usual self that everyone loves seeing (ie: a dick).

i also replied to your pm bevis.

thank you for your pm reply, novaking.

i just wanted to say one last thing before bowing to nk's wishes of keeping this thread on topic ... i don't think it's fair to call
nk a 'dick' like that - effectively doing the same thing to him that i had an issue with people doing to me here earlier. in my
opinion, that comment was too strong, and it's not how i feel about nk. i understand his workload here and the feeling that
his efforts are largely unappreciated, and i don't want to be seen as adding to that perceived ungratefulness. (i say
'perceived' because i'm sure the grateful-but-silent users far outweigh those who whinge and complain.)

in fact, my original comment above was intended to assist with user feedback - unpopular to most of those who've chimed
in, perhaps, but not necessarily to all users of the site. nk has explained that it's an intentional goal to place that item where
it is, and i accept that.

i remain, as always, grateful to nk for all he does. i'm sorry that this thread degenerated into name-calling (both towards
myself and nk), but i didn't start that childishness and i refuse to continue it. so much hatred! just relax and breathe,
people.

peace out.

getting back on topic i thought the film was excellent. i enjoyed how it wasn't so much about gitmo as it
was about how they wanted the press to report on gitmo. i also found it interesting that there wasn't any
interaction with detainees. you'd think if the us gov really wanted to be open about gitmo they'd let the
press interview detainees pretty often to ask their opinions on treatment and progress. god we live in a
fucked up world, can't believe our governments lock up people without providing proof of wrong doing to
anyone independent. there should at least be some judges that get to see the evidence?

"social consciousness"? lol! you guys are a joke! obama has not "ordered gitmo closed" you obviously
don't understand american politics, what a lame attempt to be politically active. i am done with
this piece of shit site. all the good torrent sites are private any way.

when a .torrent site shifts it's focus from providing .torrents, that's the end of a once useful site.
