the video is fine. the audio is 2ch ac3 not 6ch. because the audio track claims to be 6ch as shown

well, ordinary people like us don't get information :-(
the first question i would have asked the "scene" is whether the source was screwed up. 2008 release
rules (and i believe they are still valid) mandate that the original audio is used --- although i
don't know whether a fix like this would be allowed.
also, i would still assume that smallville is popular enough to get a proper, if possible. so either
its popularity dropped quite a bit so nobody cared, or the source is indeed screwed up and there
simply hasn't been a proper broadcast at all. or the scene is lazier than i thought, "unable" to
catch a latenight rerun or something like that :-)
either way... ordinary people like us = no information :-(
