still, if eztv decided to distribute a series in 720p, they generally stick to that and do it. it
might be a little late, or (in the case of a recent smallville ep) quite late, but they are a
reasonably reliable source with very few gaps. in other words, if eztv distributes 720p, i rarely
have to search elsewhere for that series.
which is why i still haven't started the dollhouse download --- eztv surely distributes "the real
thing"; there's no other source like that that i'm aware of. hasn't happened to far, but i wouldn't
be surprised if something i grabbed elsewhere turns out to be something entirely different. so,
having to wait a little = no problem. still better than waiting a year or two for a local non-hd,
cut and dubbed broadcast.
i don't think they'd just drop 720p distribution "midseason" for several shows without even making
an announcement.
how about no one uses bittorrent any more? i use megashares with flashget...
with a speed of alteast 454k/s you start downloading it...and playing a 720p episode at the same
time? you know.. after 60 seconds.. pause it then resume it again( so the first chunk parts are
done) play it in vlc.. and away you go.
29.95 for 6 months worth.. unlmited downloads.. and yes that is american dolllars.. (american dollar
is so low at the moment its a bargain).
don't get me wrong.. i come to eztv all the time to see what has been released..
but bittorrent? really? who uses that still?? really?? i mean people can see what you are
downloading publicy... screw that..
haha scifi1, the american dollar might be at an all-time low, but that doesn't mean it's easy to come by.
just because the dollar's worth dropped doesn't mean we all still make the same amount of money as
before. and then on top of that, when the dollar drops, the bills become harder to pay because they don't
drop, in fact they raise. your sales pitch needs some work buddy.
