i care.

i will never watch leno again for what he did to conan.

leno copies all his material from other people. he's lame and boring, and only other people like
that like him.

i think it was the network (nbc) that 'did that to' conan.
seems like the only way leno could have protected conan was to quit entirely - and maybe say goodbye
to his career(?). i think there was a clause in his contract that barrs him from working for another
network for x amount of years etc.

if you don't keep yourself 'fresh' in the consciousness of the people, you quickly become old and
forgotten. you have to keep yourself 'alive' by being on constantly - or you fade out = bye bye,
career and loads of money. and we all know leno has a quite large car collection he needs to take
care of. 🙂

i really can't blame leno for this mess. its really the nbc executives that dropped the ball, tbh.

on the other hand, i cannot quite understand conan giving them an ultimatum like he did.
yes, i understand his ego was hurt (and he might want to protect his friend letterman or whatever he
said) - and thats cool and all.
however, would it really hurt conan so much to be on later? its not like he'd have to come to work
later... its all recorded on the same time of the day anyway - no matter when its aired.

and what about all his employees and their families? a lot of them took the chance and moved to
california for this. what's gonna happen to all these people? i think conan should feel some sort of
responsibility towards these people. just like letterman did during the writer's strike.

anyway, i hope conan moves to fox. i miss his show (even though i like leno, letterman & ferguson more)

well considering that leno was the lead in for conan and he failed, therefore causing low ratings
for conan, that would be his fault. (instead of keeping shows like law and order in that slot, or
canceling great shows like life so that jay 'big jaw' leno could stay on tv.)

also conan didn't want to go on later, since the tonight show would cease to be and would
essentially become the tomorrow show, since it would start after midnight.

the conspiracy theorist in me thinks that regretting agreeing to leave the tonight show leno made
his show fail on purpose therefore seeing conan fail and having a chance to swoop back into the
tonight show's seat.

and lets not forget that he basically did a similar thing before when johnny carson wanted david
letterman to succeed him on the tonight show and leno screwed him out of it.


a lot of people refused to do the tonight show under leno because of what he's done to people over
the years, i see a lot more joining that group after this mess, you should check out what howard
stern has to say about leno, and also what rosie o'donnell said recently about what leno did to her
at nbc back when he got the tonight show.

they wanted leno gone cause they were afraid he wouldn't stay #1 and wanted to give conan a try so
he wouldn't leave to another network, they wouldn't let him out of his contract cause they didn't
want him to compete with conan cause he'd crush him in the ratings. leno has a lot more ratings then
conan also when he was back on late night almost double the viewers, so i'd say more people care
about leno then conan that said i hope they both stay on the air somehow

whatever, i would still like to see conan torrent :d

what is all this bickering all about,is it due to conan changing the slot time, a joke that was made
by colbert awhile back and i didnt get it last time around.

sorry but maybe you didn't hear, the jay leno show got canceled (that's right canceled) due to poor
ratings. if people loved their beloved jay 'big jaw' leno so much, they would have watched him
whenever he was on.


viva el coco indeed. was always more entertaining than leno.





to be honest i think the end result that leno was hoping for was that he gets the tonight show back,
conan be damned, since it was the show that held a good portion of ratings, not just him.

normaly i watch conan and i quite like it , even it's not as awesome as the colbert report !
i just watched the jay leno show , and in my taste , it's not very good!
and come one , stop the obvious product placement , bing seach ? who use that ?
