yeah it's rather ironic to see the man who is disgusted by cheap television to produce a recap episode.
however i think they do this for the same reason top gear sometimes has recaps.
it means they can spend a 6 episode budget on 5 episodes. making them more entertaining and better
to watch, unfortunatly it means that 1 episode will have no budget and needs old material.

charlie brooker has done a recap show for every season of screen/newswipe.

i remember one of 'em where they did the recap episode for the 5th instead of the 6th because they
worked so hard putting the 4th together and needed a break.
