Vanished S01E07 HDTV XviD-XOR

man thats a mad way to end the episode, 3 possibilitys (im not going to spoil it
by actually stating hte ending)

1) show has been cancled already
2) its a mid-season break
3) its just a strange twist (even more strange than episode 4's ending)

tv.com has episodes 8 and 9 scheduled on the 23rd and 30th october.

this show kicks way too much ass to be canceled. my guess is it's just a crazy
twist.

i honestly love the show and hope it doesn't get cancelled. however fox has
confirmed ep 8 and 9 will air after baseball. however, if you look at the fox
lineup for january (search the wikipedia for fox) vanished is not listed (other
shows are moved around for american idol and 24). i think vanished was just a
mini-series type show instead of a full 20+ ep season.
i also read that fox ordered 3 new scripts for vanished (but no official word on
if and when they will be filmed) or if it will have the same fbi agents. as for
this episode, i think its more a twist. if you look at the fox show guide for
this episode on the last line it says he sees sarah before "passing out". thats
it. i think its a ratings ploy. since there will be a break from ep for
baseball, fox wants to make sure everybody stays interested in the show to come
back and after this ending, everybody will be back to see what really happens.

after posting the above (it won't let me edit it) i noticed an interview was
posted with one of the producers of vanished stating that he really is dead.
that it was part of the plan from the start to kill him off (they just weren't
sure when at the time and baseball break seemed perfect). here is the link,

it also looks like he is being replaced (as lead agent) by the guy he met in dc
before he was killed. i think agent mei is going to be taking a more 'lead' roll
since all the information he had he passed on to her. i was a fan of the show
because i liked it, not because of gale (i had actually never heard of him
before). so, i still plan on watching the show.

fox have announced that season 1 will be 13 episodes and will wrap up in
december. it hasn't been cancelled - yeah right! - and will decide its fate
after they see how it does in its new friday night timeslot.
