steven spielberg and tom hanks have teamed up once again to bring the pacific theater of world war
ii to the small screen. not band of brothers set in the pacific. showing us the men who fought in
the pacific with their own story, that has long deserved attention.
10-part miniseries. about an hour each.

from the creative team behind band of brothers comes this ten-hour miniseries tracing 3 american
marines as they fight world war ii in the pacific. the series was shot on location in australia, and
is produced by hbo films in association with playtone and dreamworks television.

video quality is superb. i noticed in the credits this was made by film victoria australia. that's where i
was born and live, had no idea but so cool.
my father served during this war in new guinea. i was born after it was all over in 1949. watching this
series will mean so much to those still alive who served and the sons and daughters of those who did
both australian and american.
