s01e02

has this been labeled wrong? and is it in fact ep 2?

that does seem like it could be ep 2/3, as thats the episode title. this ep is technically suppose
to be 4, as the first was 2 episodes.

whether or not this should be labelled as s01e04, here is what is true:

the 700mb s01e01 file on eztv from chgrp is 1:29:07 long and the content was aired on march 5, 2010.
various sites give episode names of "red door/paint it black".

the s01e03 file (that i uploaded to monova, thepiratebay etc.) labelled as
"the.bridge.s01e03.the.fat.lady.sings.the.blues.xvid-err0001.avi" is 41:26 long and the content was
aired on march 12, 2010. the episode name is "the fat lady sings the blues"

the s01e03 file on eztv from notv is 40:42 long and the content was aired on march 19, 2010. the episode
name seems to be "the unguarded moment".

the makes using "the episode downloader" (or ted) rather redundant (really recommend this for
serious users of web/torrent tv). this 'really cool program' grabs the episode torrent from eztv
(and others). the two places where this can fall down is: a) the rss feed is missing/wrong and b)
the episode torrent is labelled wrong.

fwiw, we had this same problem with episodes of 'house' as they had broadcasted parts i and ii same
night also. it took a four or five episodes to clean up and sort out.

good episode this one, although the "feel" of the pilot seems to have disappeared now that we are
moving into the series. the pilot was really gritty and really reminded me of the shield in bits. but that
feel seems to have gone now...

the pilot felt like it might be trying to be a much more serious show than this episode turned out
to be, a "let's see how awful we can be!" hostage story with, really, very little plot or character
development. the dialogue isn't as good, and even the fun of playing spot the location is quickly over.

the way they're so quickly contriving reasons to get the police union involved in outrageous antics
suggests that they really wanted to make an action/cop show and never had much "slice of life on the
streets" or political intrigue in mind.
