here people say the problem is that we download causing those rich to loose some small amount of
money. they say what we do here is wrong.
has anyone found out that the bigger problem is actually the monetary system. this system is
telling us that we can not share with others what ever we experience.
i am ashamed of being human, have been for long. this thing is yet another reason.
totally agree queq,
but despite the files sharing issue, the bill will allow companys and government to snoop at
everything we are doing, what ever happened to the data protection act!?
apperently if any consequences are actioned for file sharers they can be overturned within the eu
constitution as apperently taking away a persons internet connection is aginst their human rights.
not sure i agree with that but it's a loophole and i find it strange that part of the digital
economy bill is to levvy a tax so broadband is available to more people in the uk, which seems to go
along with the eu constitution?
if your in the uk, please sign the petition. it's true that most "companys" and political partys are
backing it but that's the recording and movie industry not the internet service providers!
us aussies are similarly being oppressed by "nanny state" politicians. when this law gets
passed in the uk the morons in the australian government will use it over here as a template for an
even more insidious version! and as far as i can see, there's not a damn thing any of us little
people can do to impede these power-mad zealots!
'...and as far as i can see, there's not a damn thing any of us little people can do to impede these
power-mad zealots...!'
change up, dude, stop thinking like a 'little person'! anything created by the hand of man can be
destroyed by the hand of man, especially when it comes to 'tinterwebs! the only chains are in the
mind, so go find a solution, vpn, tor, whatever we clever bastards think of next, and stick it to the
'man' all over again, the way we've been doin' for millennia...
