thanks, a gritty story. it doesn't exactly paint la as the place to live. are there suburbs like
this area there? looks like people are living in an urban warfare zone?

can't speak for what's in the episode, not having seen it just quite yet. but i live in southern
california and, no, the suburbs aren't an urban war zone. do police have a rough go, as in any other
big city in the world? yes. does los angeles have a history of heavily armed and publicized crime?
yes, like other big cities in america. still, i can't imagine living anywhere else in the world.
