actually i don't think there is any harm in the query about why split the files, except in the
manner it was asked. to respond to that query however, there are some movie players / boxes that
won't correctly play files over 1gb (they go out of sync, slow etc), in which case these split files
work for them. probably not the reason it's done though, more of a 'scene' thing which i agree is a
bit outdated - at least it's not 50x 48 mb rar files or some crap like that ! 🙂

please seed i need to have this downloaded in the next half an hour and its taking 2 hours
