Rubicon S01E01 Pilot HDTV XviD-FQM

rubicon is an upcoming american television series created by jason horwitch and airing on the amc
television network. the series will be about an analyst at a national think tank who discovers that
his employers may be part of a secret society that manipulates world events on a grand scale. the
series will star james badge dale, lili taylor, miranda richardson, dallas roberts, christopher evan
welch, paul butler and peter gerety.

the show will be a 13-episode weekly series.[1]

the series will debut on amc on august 1, 2010 at 8/7c[2] however a 45-minute preview of the show
was aired after the season 3 finale of breaking bad on sunday, june 13 at 11/10c.[3]

looks interesting but the big problem with all these conspiracy series is will they last and all the
big questions answered or get cancelled with no closure.

flashforward jumps to mind, fbi, cia, unknown perpetrators, the grand conspiracy but who was doing
what and for what purpose? we never found out.

easy to give the benefit of the doubt to amc, which has what are probably the two best shows currently airing on tv.

it hardly left me wanting more...however, i will persist.

not what one would expect out of a pilot. looks like this is going to be as much a flop as "the prisoner".

you all need to be aware, this was a 'sneak preview' of the actual pilot, which will air on aug. 1
and be twice as long (2 hours with commercials). so don't judge too harshly until you see the
entire thing as it was meant to be seen.

i agree, it doesn't exactly start with a bang the way breaking bad did - but as the above poster
said, it's amc and they seem to know what they're doing so far.

if you think about it, mad men and breaking bad only got really good about 4 or 5 episodes into the first
season. remember walt with the crystal bomb at tuco's den? that's when breaking bad got good.

have to agree with all comments, from past experience any show you give the time of day that follows
conspiracies or unsolved mysteries just ends leaving you wondering well what a waste of time that was.
i give you lost which had 6 seasons of nothing in the end, john doe that finished leaving you hanging
as it was cancelled, early edition 2 seasons then fans try for the save and fail, life 2 seasons, the
prisoner 17 episodes, just to name a few.

glad i watched the first 4 in a sitting totally hooked now. if i'd just watched the first one or two i probably
would have not bothered. good show hope it runs for a while. reminded me a bit of spooks in a much as
it takes a while for the overall plot to become apparent.
