take it this is the slightly better quality aired version compared to the previously leaked futurama
s06e01 dvdscr xvid-mspaint torrent? anyone got any comments on it compared to the other one?

i'd be interested too. as of now, i can't find a 'nuke' entry for the mspaint dvdscr releases for either e01, e02. i've
watched them both too and they looked fine.

edit:
hehe, a cup of coffee clearly helps thinking. these rips here originate from a source with higher image resolution (hd vs.
dvd).

so if anyone was still confused as to what season this should be, lets clear it up now:

original run had 4 seasons that aired as 5. 4 straight to dvd movies were cut up and edited into a
season of tv eps, that apparently count as being the second half of season 5. according to david x.
cohen, show writer and producer, these brand new tv eps are indeed season 6.

dvdscr were fine, if you collect, grab these hdtv.

so this is the hdtv capture with commercials cut and tv station logo. and the previoud release is
the dvd screener version with no commercial breaks or station logos that had perfect dvd quality.

yep, summed it up nicely. in addition, the dvdscrs have full end credits which are missing (as usual) from the tvrips.

i've watched the dvdscrs and noticed nothing wrong with them. i've only briefly looked into the hdtv rips and noticed two
things: the opening credits of e02 have a black bar at the bottom in the hdtv release (which goes away eventually and is
not in the dvdscr version). ...and is it just me, or is the sound better on the dvdrips? e01 hdtv to me doesn't sound as crisp/
clear as the dvdrip version, noticeable when music's playing.
