haven\'t watched it and don\'t plan to but seems a lot like a remake of who\'s the boss from the
description.

melissa joan hart is a local politician with kids (not hers.. a niece and nephew) who doesn\'t have
time for them with scandal issues so she hires joey lawrence (out of work actor... no sorry.... out
of work commodities trader) to be their nanny. it\'s a multi-camera live audience thing for abc family.

thanks for the description. sounds sucky, so i won't bother.

the sound isnt matching up with the video or is it just me

sounds pretty dumb but it's melissa joan hart and i still have the hots for her so i'll watch an
episode or two.

edit: yup, imho she's still hot and still has good timing but this series series just isn't all that
funny. i liked the homage to charles in charge - even the living room layout reminds me of original
series' living room.

"melissa & joey," a half-hour multi-cam comedy with melissa joan hart and joey lawrence executive
producing and starring, finds hart portraying mel, the grown-up former wild child of a political
family who is now a local politician herself. when her sister ends up in prison and brother-in-law
flees after a scandal hits, mel must take responsibility for her teenaged niece lennox and
pre-adolescent nephew ryder. spread too thin to manage by herself, help comes in the unlikely form
of joe (lawrence) who, desperate for a job, moves in and becomes the family's "manny." david kendall
& bob young are executive producers and writers; paula hart also serves as executive producer.

not bad at all, has some potential, but sadly, nothing special. much better shows have ended up in
the trash on abc (and its family) in the past years (roommates, ruby and the rockits, surviving
suburbia, romantically challenged...).
i adore melissa joan hart so i will definitely keep watching as long as it's on the air, but i don't
think it's going to be a long run.

is it just me or is the laughter more canned than fresh sounding?
it's killing the show, if they dropped the laughter it might be watch-able.

apart from that it's an ok show
oh and mjh is still a hottie! ^_^
