what makes this show so compelling to watch? "the troubles." that has got to be the most moronic
storyline of all time but i do love the actors and the scenery, seriously, even though it's filmed in nova
scotia not maine. last week's stuffed taxidermist was def a classic. if that didn't leave you embarrassed
to have wasted your time on this crap nothing ever will.
now rubicon has potential. yeah, the storyline may take a year or two to come out, but give it time. at
least the premise isn't preposterous. a fellow kills himself because a secret society sends him a four
leaf clover? secret messages are embedded in the daily crossword puzzle but no way does it get past
our guy? the wife is bequeathed a multimiilion dollar nyc furnished townhouse by the suicidal husband
she knew nothing about, not to mention the townhouse she knew nothing about, so he leaves it to her?
why? as a nya, nya, nya, nya, nya, you dumb broad? the fbi conducts clandestine surveillance by
hanging around on the corner outside the guy's apartment and place of work, and following him
wherever he goes? hmmm, can you say one deus ex machina coming up?
you guys forgot to mention the deep. i'm still upset mr. good will hunting dumped minnie driver so i'll
leave that critique to you guys.
this show is no gem, the writing is terrible, but rubicon is boring as hell, and yeah the storyline
may take a while to come out but you can bet that show will be canned before it does. at least with
this show i get to laugh at the really retarded storyline, and that awesome camera work in last
weeks episode(the moose attack in particular). it may not be marked a comedy, but it might as well
be. btw would anyone burn up vacation time in a little crap hole town with a bunch of irritating
rednecks that won't talk to you to look for clues to find a mother that abandon you at birth?
wow quite the essays over the dislike of this show. if you don't like it, don't watch it... some
people like cheesy mystery shows. there are people who think the rocky horror picture show is
the greatest thing since sliced bread but i don't get all uppity when you wanna dress in women's
clothing... to each their own right?
hey if you're a cross-dresser it's understandable why you're upset. uppity? that's gay. uppity is the
definition of a person who thinks they can order people to not watch something. if you like the show
just say why and save your personal bs for your hairdresser. this forum is here for the exchange of
opinions on the show. if you don't like them don't read them.
