i\'m not usually one for legal drama/dramedy, but this was pretty entertaining. i\'ll give it 3 eps
until i pass judgement. it\'s definitely worth 42 minutes of your life.

all of a sudden my bit torrent client (transmission) says it can't find any peers. so i can't get
this torrent download started. my earlier torrents are still seeding, but new ones like this won't
start. i tried adding some other trackers (only knew of a couple) but that didn't work -- still 0
peers. any suggestions?

hey, that was a surprise!

well, not so much a surprise as a "phew, something with jerry o'connell that the critics might not
say sucks". mind you, i'm a jerry o'connell fan - from fat kid to sliders to rebecca romijn, i
happen to like him a whole lot, heck, i even liked carpoolers.

back to the defenders - a tired, imho, premise but in las vegas, which is a very interesting place
to run a courtroom drama/comedy, which is what this is and, if i may, it's done good enough to
actually make me want to watch another episode or two. the duo's, and likely the show's, tagline:
"what happens in vegas, call #####" is pretty smart - courtroom stories in the us' favorite spot for
debauchery, it has a lot of potential.

i didn't really dislike any part of the show since it's partially supposed to be silly - a recent
graduate that put herself through law school by dancing (which i thought was a hoot), courtroom
antics and, what i found to be refreshing, a james belushi that i don't want to punch. as i stated
above, i really like jerry o'connell so i'm very biased to whatever he does so i'll skip what he
does but it drew a chuckle at every turn.

i liked it and despite it not being the kind of show i'm into, i'll give it a few more weeks before
deciding on following it - it's stale but in a very, very fresh place so it balances itself out.

just saw the first two episodes. this show is surprisingly good!
i'm not really a fan of lawyer/court shows (except maybe boston legal).

the las vegas background really hasn't been important yet.
this show could have been located in any big city actually.

nip/tuck meets the practice, only with far less attractive actors.
