wasn't this last week's episode??? this week's was supposed to be episode 5, far as i know...

no lost girl aired this week, and there were no scene rip of last weeks ep.. hence the readnfo in the ep name.. i'm trying
to find the .nfo somewhere to post..

you're right and wrong. episode 1.04 was indeed last week and eztv is really late for that one but the next episode (1.05)

well err0001 delivered _something_ when glorious scene "all the way" failed. shit happens - i agree,
but nagging amateur capper is really not nice.

we (community) are more than ready to be forgiving to occasional delays and problems since you do a
great job (and its a free stuff!), so why don't you to show some acceptance to guy who stepped in?

don't act as a street dealer protecting his turf.

hindeed, err0001 is a great bloke, i know he saved a lot of people's sanity capping the final 4-6
episodes of defying gravity when the scene dropped it, as well as the only decent copy of the 3rd
episode of the bridge when the scene missed that

word.

and for the record i watched tpb one and it wasn't bad at all. have downloaded this one too but i
can't see much difference. thanks for the up.

admittedly i do prefer scene rips when possible but a lot of p2p have been as good, some better,
than scene rips (though sizes are often weird compared to scene rips).

of course, there have been some horrible ones as well... it's hard to predict unless you're familiar
with the ripper. predicting the scene though when it comes to rip is often difficult (eg the scene
seem to have completely ignored "shattered" and i've only seen p2p releases of the 5 episodes to
date) so i usually give a show 24 hours before i'll grab a non-scene rip and usually only if it has
a good rating.

eztv chooses not to post non-scene rips and that's their right, just as it's yours to choose whether
to download p2p elsewhere or wait for scene. other sites have limits (eg non-scene or indi rips can
only be posted 12 hours after a broadcast time if no scene release has been uploaded) but again,
that's their choice.

abusing either for their choice is pretty silly... just make your own choice and live/let live.

i downloaded err0001s' copy & found it to be perfectly acceptable... he uploaded this a week earlier - (great for everyone)
i'll never understand why some of you bitch about such trivial matters.

if it wasn't for the eztv thread on the last episode i would not have found it so easily - so thanks to all who contributed! :d

eztv has posted non-scene releases in the past; one i remember is the last ep of john adams.

canada is neglected, and err0001 helps to fill that void. and the rips are fine. this is a regular uploader with
pirate skulls.

if the ppl on "the scene" weren't so full of themselves they could contact this bloke who obviously
has access to canadian broadcast and teach him!
i sure like the scene releases, but i am thoroughly tired of many contributors' (and other
jackasses') condescending, "holier-than-thou" attitudes!
i've been around since before there was an effing "scene" and these bastards have been as aloof and
ignorant since the start... it's not a competition, i thank whoever gives me the rip, the rest of
you should get a life damn it!

and what's with the fixation with file-sizes? sure, i want an even quality between eps, especially
if i'm to save them, but the actual size of the file is more about how many you can fit on a cd than
anything else, and who uses cds these days? seriously, if you burn anything to watch or keep, get
new hardware that doesn't require it!
