i'm a big fan of the myshows feature, yet i find that it's rather time consuming adding my favourite shows. i think it'd be easier to add shows in bulk if the show selection used check-boxes, as opposed to the links to add the show manually. just a suggestion. |

i was just thinking of posting a different suggestion regarding the my shows area. would it be possible to seperate the versions of a show for the rss? for instance, instead of having an entry for \"24\" on the list, have three entries, one for \"24 regular\" one for \"24 hr-hdtv\" and one for \"24 720p.\" the reason i ask this is that i am stuck using the rss import plugin with azureus, and can\'t use anything more sofisticated, and thus i can\'t weed out the hr and 720p, which means i can\'t use the rss while not at home lest i have three versions downloaded when i get back. or better than making three show entries instead of one, you had check boxes next to each show that one could mark for what versions of the show they want to download? would this be too complicated a thing to set up? if so, i can always live with what i got now, this is by no means a complaint. just a suggestion, since you guys seem open to hearing them. thanks for your time, --vx239 |

any reason you can't use the rss feed scanner plugin instead ? :- http://azureus.sourceforge.net/plugin_details.php?plugin=rssfeed it's way more flexible and has much superior filter handling with regular expressions. even the somwehat less sophisticated rss filtering in utorrent is more useful than the azureus rss import plugin. |

tried to install the rss feed scanner, wouldn't work, probably have too old a version of azureus, 2.2.0.2 which is the last version of the program that works right on my computer. (newer versions of the program need a newer version of java which uses way too many resources, on my p4 1.5 256mb system) tried utorrent once, couldn't get it to work, not sure why. |

give http://download.utorrent.com/beta/utorrent-1.6.1-beta-build-483.exe a try. there are a lot of bugfixes from the main release tree in it. (moving it to a mainline release has been slow because of the merging with bram cohen's bittorrent, so this beta has been lingering around as latest since september) the other main difference between this and the standard builds are some hooks for a remote web-browser control interface ( http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=14565&p=1 ) but you don't have to have the web ui if you don't want it - the base utorrent works just fine without it. despite being beta it's been completely stable for me - it's been running continuously for something like 6 weeks now, doing a minimum of 4 torrents at a time, and has never gone higher than 18mb ram usage. |

back to 'my shows' ideas... any chance of a real 'watched all' button? so you wouldn't have to push it for each show, but every show at once. *edit* never mind, i see this was asked in another thread already... why can't people title their threads to better describe the content? (like this thread! it's perfect.) |

and brothers and sisters isn't on the list either, which is odd. i use utorrent, and if you create filters you can make it so that it only downloads the version you want (hr, hd,...). it's really easy. and i'm not an expert. i just found out about this rss feed thing yesterday, and i already have it all figured out. of course, with the help of others here in the forum. |
