i'm not sure why you are asking here but you are in the wrong place. this time i'll do you a favour and think for you: these
episodes haven't aired yet, refer to http://epguides.com/grimm/ for further information. took all of 2 minutes to find that
out.

i'll watch this show later to see what it's about. i'm interested in the crowd sourcing model for tv and game production
funding so will be keeping an eye on this one.

someone knows if there are subtitles in english or portuguese or spanish?

a great sci fi series (if it takes off)

i cant understand why everyone wants english subtitles, it is english spoken

but the sound could do with tweaking a bit, too soft in places

a shame you have to be a facebook member to donate or comment (i aint a member, never wil be,
either)

oh, well just have to hope this isnt another series that fades away

(maybe show it to some of the big companys, if funding is really needed)

there was another film/tv series that asked for donations, i did donate, but never heard any more
about it (it was some time back, i cant remember what it was called though)

i quite enjoyed that.

for having a budget of $10,000 this pilot looked absolutely stunning!

sure hope l5 get developed further, as good sci-fi is extremely hard to find nowadays.

it's a x264 file. i have never been able to watch these files on my powerbook g4, even
though i have downloaded every codec that has been recommended for vlc & quicktime and tried
different settings etc. the picture freezes or lags very badly, or there's a green screen. sound is
the only thing that's o.k.
do other mac users have this problem too? if it's not an avi file & i really want to watch it, i
download it & convert it to an avi file with either 'fvl crunch' or 'any video converter'. this does
take a long
time & doesn't always work out well so i usually just stay away from anything but avi files.

judging from the reviews here, i'm going to download & convert.

of course you haven't. x264 demands a much better computer than your g4. it doesn't matter how many
codecs and players you have installed if the hardware can't hack it.

i very skeptic when it gets to low budget films and series. but i have to say that this is very well done. i
loved the story behind it.

one thing that often shows that is a low budget show or a movie, is the music. but this don't affect the
show too much. there should be bit more music in the stunning background scenes, like the space walks
and the big space station. it's also nice that there is not music in the background, when they are telling
or speculating on what has happened. music should only be used when the feeling need to be bit
stronger, and not when the audience need to get some background information for the story line. the
story line is holding together, and is not overshooting at all. good sound logic to whats going on.

the actors are pretty good actors. they are about as good as my theater group, bit over acting but that's what u can expect from theater actors. over all with that budget, not bad actors. i'm lieutenant
my self and think that the captain is showing of too much of hes feelings, for the crews own good. but
grasping the concept, and/or putting your self into the situation of "the world has ended" is not easy.

so what about the props? very nice indeed. everything from the cloths, spacesuits, to the indoor
scenery is really good, and well done.

computer scenery's are pretty good, not the best i have seen. looks bit silly when the walk over the enormous space stations floor. but, the all the other space scenes, are very well done.

over all, a very good sci-fi show. keep up the good work.

i guess you are a native speaker. people like me who are not born in english speaking country sometimes
have hard time to translaste everything. its much easier for translation to actually see the text, especially
when voice is mixed up with explosions and loud music. english sub are also good for creating other
language subs.

anyway pilot episode looks very good for amateur production. i was excpecting some low quality
animations, but they are actually pretty watchable. to actors.... well main characters are played well, but
some like that female scientist who prefers gama ray burst theory are just horrible. but those are small
thinks. script is good that is important, camera also does its job well. sometimes you can see crew
reflection in helmet and things like that but like i said those are small bugs. whole episode was solid
drama, i dont think they would done it better in hollywood for this mount of money.

in the future! do an online search only 12 eps have aired in that series.

yeah, sound needs more careful editing there - some voices are muffled next to being
incomprehensible. also big fail @19:54, you can see camera crew in reflection.. :d

but overall - a very fine piece of sci-fi, nice cgi - not too much and doesn't look cheap
