what is it with all these x264 files.. they are usless!!!! especially for people who do not have xbox etc.. go back to either avi or mp4 please |

x264 = mp4 i do not have a xbox, but i can still watch it on tv via my pc so what's the big deal? you got a computer right, than watch it on your pc. dissatified with eztv providing mp4 (x264), then go to other places like: piratebay extratorrent etc. to find your precious avi files, cause eztv is not going back to it at this point in time (can't say for the future) read: http://eztv.it/forum/24597/mp4-vs-xvid-revenge-of-the-scene/

eztv does not cap (capture/record) tv shows. eztv does not choose the codec (xvid - x264) or container (avi - mp4 - mkv). eztv only posts links to tv shows that were capped by official scene release groups. eztv posts links to xvid/avi versions if & when they are available from an official scene release group. please read the forums: http://eztv.it/forum/ the thread titled "mp4 vs xvid - revenge of the scene" addresses the switch to x264/mp4. or use this link: http://eztv.it/forum/24597/mp4-vs-xvid-revenge-of-the-scene/ official scene "tv releasing standards 2012" http://scenerules.irc.gs/t.html?id=2012_sdtvx264r.nfo tip: have a backup plan... make eztv your first stop for tv show torrent links. enjoy the easy navigation, quality & reliability. however, if what you're looking for is not here, and you can't wait to see if it is posted later, or you want a different file format, video resolution, missing episode, etc., have a back up plan and you will never need to ask...and others' can stop cluttering the show forums with unnecessary links. be prepared, empower yourself!!! there are several decent torrent sites to choose from. one such site is tpb www.thepiratebay.se note: when using tpb i strongly suggest only downloading from a vip or trusted member...the ones with a green or pink skull icon. i also have a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th site on my backkup list but tpb almost always has what i'm looking for. happy hunting. hope this helps.  |

omg! how long has it been since the switch over and you've only just discovered/complained about this now? jeepers! i don't think the format useless. i think it's great, i generally get a better quality picture with a lower size download. if you don't like it, go somewhere else. "...and that is my 2 cents" |
