i'm bored so i'll download and let you guys know exactly how (un?)terrible this turns out to be

well you are right on my lack of age, but i was right on the western soap opera. the show has
a lot of drama and unnecessary stoic looks from the cast. the acting was about how you would
expect..nothing stellar but a couple of decent performances. i'm not inclined to care about
anything that is happening in the character's lives, and won't be continuing to watch the show,
but if you like most of the stuff that is shown on the cw, this will be right up your alley.
just finished watching episod 1, and clearly it helps if you as me are old enough to remember the old
dallas, i will definatly keep watching this show.
i'ts as expected an updated version of the old one, several actors are back aswell (wich is fun to see)
yeah i'm old enough to remember this from first time around. it wasn't great then and became
ridiculous as it went on (the whole dream thing). made superstars outta larry hagman and patrick duffy
etc but there's no way i'm gonna watch this again. this is the 21st century give us some completely
new shows and stop with the bloody remakes already, they dont work!
lol mate, everyone these days is a whipper snipper compared to us old farts.. didn't mean it in a
bad way. ๐
but it's dallas. they even parodied it in the simpsons. ๐

hence i'll not even bother personally, i only checked here to see what it was, and when i discovered
it was a reboot of dallas, albeit with a younger cast to supplement the fogeys (have to admit, in a
way it's clever, but sooo urgh!!) i'd have to pass. just another flinch by the tv execs who think
this will catch the younger yuppies.
they forget that they have fed them a strict diet of dancing with the clowns, who wants to be a
super model, look at me i'm a tart and famous, and other reality tv shows.
now this will just congeal in their mental digestive tracts, causing severe constipation and the
only solution will be a full seasonal enema.
survivor - television land. who can survive the longest in a season of traumatic gibberish.
it's a modern dallas setting about rich people. it is definitely a soap opera, although more
watching to a general audience than many soapies. it's not exactly a western.
and i really enjoyed it. i hated dallas when i was a kid, it was a dumb boring evening soap to me.
but i really liked this reboot of dallas. then again i seem to like everything the average american
dislikes and i dislike everything the average american likes. so whatever.
