quite enjoyable for a rather 'low budget version' costume drama, good acting, and most fascinating
for the depiction of social classes and the beginnings of the "massive consumption era" and
marketing techniques. the happy end both in the book and bbc adaptation was quite unconvincing
(oups spoiler alert:)


but what is really important, saturday night nov 17 the exceptionnal danish thriller the killing -
3rd and last season returns on bbc4 (danish version with subtitles) a double bill, 2 episodes
/evening ... wonder what kind of sweather she'll wear this season, i'm betting on horizontal stripes
