this is not te best dokumentary, not even if your swedish and it might be hard to watch. still its the first
one of its kind, and i sypport it for the longer view, so should you.

subtitles definitely help with making the movie watchable.
this is the kind of movie that *only* people with a genuine interest in the personalities of the
founders of tpb will get enjoyment out of, getting that extra inside look into what gottfrid,
fredrik, and peter were thinking at the time of the trial and aftermath.
i think the movie would be better if it were more focused on the build-up to the trial, and of
course a bigger epilogue than peter showing up at eu parliament, but it is what it is.

their point of view.

it was interesting to watch, although it was a bit boring now and then. it wasn't really a
documentary about their lives. more a gathering of snapshots during the trail. not the story
of a lifetime. complete with their opinions, how they now feel about what happened etc. there's not
really a narrator or something that asks them questions. like about what they felt at the time of
these snapshots. that would have been more interesting in my opinion...
was nice though to see the server rooms etc were tpb was hosted and kinda how it all started. :-)
these guys should be rewarded with a f*ing medal btw. for not putting up with big rusty, old
business model, company's crap. paying 30-40 for a new cd, lol. we've been ripped off for years. i'm
glad these guys helped us normal people take at least something back from those corporate moguls. (i
mean there isn't hardly anybody alive today that hasn't downloaded an mp3 track in one way or the
other)
and ultimatly it did lead to innovation i believe. services like spotify and netflix and such. there
are finally legal alternatives when it comes to music and movies. but there's still a long way to go...

i couldn't watch it. it not in english and i hate watching foreign movies even with english
subtitles. it be nice if in the info it said it not in english

tpb afk was shown in the uk on bbc4 on tuesday 19th feb as part of the storyville 2012-2013 season.
the episode is only called: the pirate bay, but my suspicions were confirmed when the title came up on
screen as tpb afk.
and yeah its mostly in swedish with subtitles. it never bothered me but i love watching tv from all over the
world (not just japanese anime but shows such as engrenages, broen, wallander and of course the brilliant
forbrydelsen).
if you really dont want to read subs then its not for you but otherwise its an interesting documentary.

then you wont need subtitles, because english subtitles are embedded.
if you are referring to one of the mvgroup versions, there is a download link on their website.
