i agree with the person from sweden, i live in the uk and have decided to pay for it since it
doesn't cost too much. i believe this is the future for tv, on demand and i'd like to see it
succeed. however since i didn't have an account before, it is for free anyway... and i wouldn't
complain too much for people in countries where there isn't netflix downloading it - they would have
had it for free too... and this way it would be easier for netflix to open in new countries!

just to stick up for some folks who won't be paying: it's entirely possible to live on such a modest
budget that the subscription isn't a realistic option.

i'm sorry, but if you are sticking to a budget that doesn't let you pay $8 for literally hundreds of
thousands of hours of material, then you need to not watch that content. simply saying that you
can't afford it therefore you download it is a ridiculous argument. if you can't afford something,
you don't get to have it. i use eztv, but i pay for cable, dvr, and premium channel services in one
way or another. in my personal opinion, the only time it is ok to not pay what they ask for content
is when corporate jury rigging has conspired to make it impossible to play the content on the device
of your choice or they try to get you to pay more than once. this is why i have subscribe to
showtime, hbo, etc., at home, but i download the shows when on the road.

hypocrites! but go on, tell yourself whatever you need to to make yourself feel better.
