a contemporary, smart investigative drama in which the lowly back-room office staff join forces to fight
for justice in a corrupt corporate world. this will involve bending of office etiquette, somewhat... jane is
a humble office temp who takes on a new post at an inner city law firm and soon realises she's not just
filling in for a secretary with the flu- she's sitting in a dead woman's chair.

the deceased woman is rose whose best friend linda is convinced that she was murdered, despite
police reports to the contrary. linda quickly enlists jane in her quest to find the truth and together they
recruit the it guy and the lady from payroll and form the society of the blue rose.
with some help from others on the apparently lowlier rungs in the office- our heroes fight high stakes
crimes and shadowy corporate skulduggery to uncover the truth about rose. they are united in
purpose- and tattoos- to see out further injustices.

but proving guilt is always harder than suspecting it...especially when you are the underdog.

its probably not worth your time. some interesting moments, (if you are into that sort of thing) but the
actors (as always in nz) seem to over-act. drives me batty. >.<

sound extremely boring.
with a lot a lot of office scenes where nothing much happens but a not so deep conspiracy gets unraveled

rather provocative statement. seems there are several movies that contain numerous nz actors that
contain some of the most watched acting ever. it's a very small country, but i'd wager it's made
more money per capita than most others in the last ten years from its over acting.

ahhh i am not talking so much about the actors that have the talent and ability to make it into movies, but
more the ones that stay local and stick with tv soap-operas and 'drama' such as shortland street,
outrageous fortune, or nothing trivial (of which a vast majority of the cast in the blue rose has been in at
least one of these shows)

oh, and yes, i am a kiwi.

but no one checks that claim. they take it at face value? not in real life.

maybe it's because social differences,but for f#cks sake.. that show was boring. again, i simply may
not understand brits although i am familiar with peculiar british humor but wtf?
i don't know... i just didn't get it.

brits do come up with decent shows, that was not one of them. 🙂
