i poked around the interwebs and couldn't find any information on a fourth season though i did see
mention that ifc had ordered 10 episodes and 2 specials for season 3 (not including the pre-season
"winter in portlandia" special.)

as achdeeteevee said, it has huge ifc network support.
my guess is that portlandia will return for a fourth season.

june 12, 2013, ifc announced that portlandia was renewed for fourth and
fifth season of 10-episodes each, to be aired in early 2014 and 2015.
