i think its the writers way of letting us know that the good guys don't always win

the storyline with carl is so badly written. they made the scene of carl shooting the
teenager look like the teen was about to grab carl and use him as a human shield. he wasn't dropping
his gun, but instead inching towards carl and holding it out. everyone watching that scene
immediately knew that was a defensive shot. then later the scene is explained entirely different to
rick, as if the boy was surrendering. carl's explanation would have made sense had the boy dropped
his gun and still been shot. the expression in carl's eyes wasn't "we can't risk trusting outsiders,
or people will die." it was "this guy is about to make a deadly move, i either shoot him or be
shot."

i think that the picture in the eztv listing needs to change since there are only 2 of
them alive now lol
