Doctor Who 2005 7x09 Hide HDTV x264-FoV

it's almost coming to a point of calling this series doctor who-cares.



i feel steven moffat is slowing killing doctor who and the sooner the better he leaves the series it
will be a much better show.

as i'm sure you expect it,and i would hate to disappoint,there are a great many of us would would
disagree with you.

this season is definitely going a more kiddy/nonsensical route. which is weird since moffat wrote the more
adult ones before...

fyi:

while the entire episode is here, this encode cuts out before the end of the trailer for next week's
episode. so those of you who archive these and want to have the full thing including credits, etc,
may want to wait for a different release.

i hate it when they cut off the end credits but oh well there's surely worse things in life. as for the season - for me the xmas
special was the best in years and i'm quite intrigued what the deal with oswin will be. we always had strong season
beginnings and ends, the current eps are the usual fillers with not so much main plot going on. worst kiddish bit for me were
the farting aliens from a few seasons ago and they were not moffat's...

the thing that infuriates me about dr who and mr moffat is the way they spend a season building
something up to be massive. then it ends up being a total cop out.
all this fore-shadowing about oswin makes us believe they have a plan.
then it'll be a total cop out.
every year they try to "out clever" the year before and it gets increasingly ludicrous.
if anyone needs me i'll be in my old man chair yelling at kids to "get off my lawn".

i didn't notice the preview for next week being cut off. worked fine for me.

edit: whoops, wrong one.

this episode just gave the feeling that i was expecting scooby doo and the gang to suddenly
appear out of nowhere, solve the mystery (the doctor and clara gets annoyed with them) and leave.

i liked it. people sure complain about doctor who a lot lately. if you don't like it, nobody's making you
watch, you know.
