meanwhile, hundreds of millions of people are living close enough to coal fired power plants that the
mortality associated with them every year dwarfs all the deaths associated with nuclear power plants, even
when adjusted for the power produced.

i would like to see a documentary on fukushima that actually puts the numbers in perspective. even with
such disasters which generate a lot of attention, the nuclear power industry is to coal fired plants as gun
related deaths are to obesity related deaths. gains more attention, but is much less of a problem.
