however, please do not use the word "fake".
there is a huge difference between an error and a fake.
eztv never posts fake torrents.

:d one can post a fake by mistake, those are not mutually exclusive. its like being handed a fake

maybe so, but generally fakes!!! are uploaded intentionally so your analogy of the fake money bill
doesn't really work, a better response might have been: 'this appears to be episode 1' & then
boonesferry would be on the case to see what happened.
unlike piratebay were fakes!!! appear every day, this site is managed intensively to make sure that
doesn't happen.

fake: a forgery - counterfeit - sham - fraud - imitation.
usually contains some type of spam, scam, or a dummy file. fakes are usually intended to trick you
into giving up personal information or money, to install a file that may contain a virus, to waste your
time and bandwidth, or propaganda to discourage people from torrenting.
"fake" files are intentionally deceptive.
"scene" groups do not release fakes, and eztv only torrents "scene" releases.
(exceptions: mvgroup, new games plus, player attack, 5 inch floppy, the sci fi guys, and vodo.)
occasionally a "scene" release will be technically flawed; out of sync, forgot to cut out a commercial,
incorrectly cropped, incorrectly titled, a duplicate, etc, but never a "fake".
true, a fake file can be passed around, circulated, by mistake.
however, in this case, that is not what happened.
true, the originator, the person who created the fake, uploads it intentionally.
then it gets passed around, circulated, intentionally or unintentionally.

fake files appear on onther sites. they do not appear on eztv.
eztv is not open to the public...only eztv can post a torrent to eztv.
eztv only torrents "scene" releases, which are never "fake".
whereas many other torrent sites are open to the public...where anyone and
everyone can post anything they want, including "fakes."
