last episode of season six: 6x24 -- may 16, 2013 -- the bon voyage reaction
on january 12, 2011, the big bang theory was renewed for an additional three years, extending it
through 2013-14, for a total of seven seasons. season 7 is scheduled to premiere in september 2013.
