last episode of season seven: 7x13 -- may 18, 2013 -- the name of the doctor
the series has been renrewed for an eighth season, which is planned to start filming in september
2013. matt smith and jenna-louise coleman have confirmed they will be returning. brian minchin,
previously a script editor in series 5, is to serve as executive producer with moffat.

awesome episode. i always like the ones that peel back the curtain on the doctor's mysteries a bit more,
and this one showed us the most yet. but the best part is that it's only leading into the 50th anniversary
special, which looks like it's going to be incredibly revealing.

great episode, learned about doctor who in 2005 just as the new series started and have watched every
episode since. i've also gone back to the beginning and watched the first few episodes with the 1st doctor.
still lots of old stuff to catch up on plus new stuff to wait for, very excited.
