on 27 may 2013, "the fall" was renewed for a second series of 5 episodes, which is set to enter
production in january 2014. air date unknown/tba...sometime 2014.
on 14 may 2013 it was reported that, in addition to being the highest rated drama launch in eight years,
the fall was likely to return for a second season of five episodes as bbc two controller janice hadlow
is on the verge of renewing the series. allan cubitt has been working on the scripts and the lead actors
have all signed on to do a second season. gillian anderson will be an executive producer for season 2.
