wow umm... i think what the original poster meant is why isn't there anyone capping this in hd, not
that eztv doesn't have it available. or anyone else for that matter. at least, that's my impression.

also, there is a 515 meg 720p webrip on tpb... just fyi. not a scene release but if you're looking
for better quality, well, there it is.

that is a webrip (source) not hdtv (source).
also, it is not a scene release...it is an independent non-scene release.

i'm not knocking webrips or independent non-scene groups or individuals...
i occasionally download non-scene caps too.

eztv only torrents scene releases. if the scene does not cap it, then eztv cannot torrent it.

eztv has no contact with "the scene". eztv does not cap (record) tv shows and has no control over
what shows are chosen by the scene, the container (file format), the video resolution (sd or 720p), or
the season/episode numbering scheme, etc.. these are all functions of the scene, not eztv.
eztv is a torrent distribution group only.

most shows are posted shortly after airing. however, there are times when, manpower, resources,
access to scene releases, etc., are limited, or we experience unexpected hardware or software issues.
sometimes a torrent may not be posted for several hours and sometimes not until the following day.

i'm just saying there are 16:9 releases out there one in 720, so much better quality than 4:3 dsr.

people just need to calm down and be patient with boonesferry and eztv as a whole so you don't
get your precious programmes on time every now and then get a life or go away (the last comment
is me being very very polite for once).

i love eztv, it's my primary site for tv-rips, my first and often only stop to get the series i want. it is a
great site, but that is not the point here.

the op asked why this particular show is always released as a dsr-rip. he didn't say it was eztv's
fault, he just made a remark about the quality compared to most releases. and i for one second that
emotion.

he could have asked in a nicer way, but there is no need to react like boonesferry did, or the snoot
remark of dvd king. for some reason, people here are very touchy lately...

i've always just grabbed hic from eztv site, so what it's in 4:3 ratio, great show, one to watch with the
mrs and always a good laugh :-)

be damn grateful that you caught me on a good day and not when i can get really pi$$ed off.
