does "tv movie" here mean this is only 1 part? or does the "s01e01" in the file name imply there is a
second part that is still coming? i'd just like to know if there is a second part or not before i watch this.
thanks.

(from syfy's press release, april 2012) rewind revolves around a team of military field operatives and
civilian scientists who must use untested technology to travel back in time to alter events and change
the future -- and avoid a devastating terrorist attack. shane mcrae stars as sean knox, ex-special
forces who ranks as a field operative in a special division of the department of homeland security. the
pilot also stars jennifer ferrin, academy award nominee keisha castle-hughes (whale rider), robbie
jones and keon mohajeri, and is currently in production in toronto. jack bender (lost, alphas) is
directing the pilot, written by justin marks (street fighter: the legend of chun-li), who will also
executive produce with tom spezialy, gail berman, lloyd braun and gene stein. a production of
bermanbraun and universal cable productions.

90 min pilot -- there are no additional episodes scheduled

"ordered to pilot" no word yet on if or when it will be "ordered to series".

it was in production more than a year ago and they are just now airing the pilot.
not a lot of information available. syfy website sucks...couldn't find out anything on their site.
my guess is that this pilot episode will be a stand alone one-off.

since it's a syfylys original, i'm guessing it's going to be illogical time-travel, with
absolutely
no basis in any form of science (like most time travel shows, and without even the fun of doctor who
stylings). has anybody read "the time ships," by stephen baxter? i want to see a time travel show
on that scale, logic, and science!
i'm gonna watch out of morbid curiosity... i might be surprised... maybe...

ah, so apparently there is a solid scientific theory for time-travel...

/facepalm

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/time_travel#theory i'm not sure how solid these theories are but there are
actual theories that scientists have.

it wasn't bad imo but not great (7 days was better) and apparently syfy are "on the fence" still as
to whether to go ahead with the series and reception to this pilot will factor in to their decision.

so, can we all agree this is a new strategy from nbcuniversal to broadcast every "good-enough" pilot
in their hands? after mockingbird lane, it's starting to form a pattern.

why does the general have vietnam medals? he would have to be 55 to even possible even been in
vietnam at the age of 17 for the last year, 1975. to me he doesn't look 55. paulino nunes is 45. so, he
would have been about 6-7 years old at the end of the war. it doesn't take much to remove those medals
from the cluster...

why? need a blanket? i get ticked off when anyone hates on wikipedia. so what if you have to work a
bit harder to use the sources referenced in a wikipedia article for university level research rather than
just giving a link to the wikipedia article? it's still a great place to start at least. better than giving a
google search string as your reference. wikipedia is kept pretty clean and fact based by the huge
community that uses and maintains it. if you ever find something wrong, fix it. it's not that simple with
other kinds of sites like britannica.
