yes, group homeland. it's most likely an official showtime release. they usually do this.

confirmed. it's not necessarily nuked per se, but it's lacking visual effects.
it's an official pre-release, now there's absolutely no doubt.

cable netowork occasionally release a season's first episode
several weeks early... via ondemand, and/or through their website.
this is nothing new.

episodes get nuked if there is even one frame of a commercial in them. their standards for nuking one of
their own releases are way higher than that of the normal downloader.

i know that, but the video is more than watchable. the only problem is with the missing visual
effects. but there's nothing the release teams can do.

yes, missing visual effects and some polish and sound effects as well.
saw nothing wrong with frame rate. streamed just fine to ps3.

totally watchable, however there are certain scenes where they have obviously changed the dialogue
and you hear actor's voices dubbed over by some generic voice, very obvious but not a show stopper.

hbo showed the first two episodes, officially, as a promo to get subscribers to sign up for showtime
(which is owned by the same parent company). i haven't seen these two versions appear anywhere yet.
