hehe, i made it!
i was waiting for the entire last season to air before watching a single episode of the final season.
this being my favorite show it was really hard to fight the urge to watch episodes i've already
downloaded to my computer, and staying away from imdb and other fan forums. now i can spend an
entire day watching the last season of dexter!
man i really hope this was worth it...

thanks eztv, and goodbye dexter, i'm gonna miss you!

the general consensus on the internet both among critics and fans seems to be that it was a terrible series

1 - he dumped his sister in the water, where he dumps the victims that he didn't care about. did he not
care about his sister?

2 - very end would have been much better, if when sitting at that table, he started to unroll a new set of
knives.

+1 for the bleh wtf? feeling, this is definatly on my worst
show last episode list now. definatly not up there with
lost but cutting it near.

wot were the producers/writers thinking?

with all the awards and funding they had at their disposal
i woulda done sumit more, like blowing up the precinct
and killing off most of the cast.. whilst dexter and the killer
slug it out in the storm as houses get ripped apart about them,
lol

according to the american critics it was a very good ending.showtime's planning a spin off series
and if michael c. hall is willing after a long break to return there may be another series or two

i never heard any such thing. proposterous to suggest they would continue this in a few years time. a miami
metro spin-off was considered but those characters are effin terrible! quinn? angel? batista? boring.

the 2 endings i was expecting was
1. all goes as planned, saxton dies, debra pulls thru, dexter and hannah gets away
2. (my choice) debra pulls thru, hannah and harrison gets away but dexter is caught killing saxton or
confess that hes
the bhb.

the producers hinted that dexter would eventually get caught, why go back on that?

and why the hell would dexter opt out from raising his son with the woman he loves, he was beginning to
develop real feelings towards the end and didnt any longer feel the need to kill... why should he protect
them from himself then?

man, this was truly disappointing...
having just watched the entire last season, i gotta say it was mediocre until the end were it just
went really bad.....

almost as bad as the ending to lost.......

sorry to disappoint you, but the entire last season was pretty bad by dexter standards.
