i don't know. i think i am just getting very old. i have nothing to really make me laugh this season except
for brooklyn nine nine. the mj fox show is an ad for nbc and michael j fox. the robin williams show was
so so. dads is awful and may be the first show to kick the bucket. sooooo, i just don't know if i have the
stomach for any more bad comedies. let me know your thoughts after you watch. 🙂 i am such a baby.

lucky 7 is about a group of people who win and starts with a flash forward six months in the future when
everything has apparently turned to crap. the first show was ok but if it doesn't get more interesting
quick then i'll be gone. i don't normally watch sit-coms but i've checked out a few. you're absolutely right
about mjfox show. and being canadian i really wanted to like it. it's not terrible, and it's nice to see
him again, it's just not very funny. but maybe it'll get funnier when they stop being so afraid of making
fun of mjf. and the crazy ones (robin williams show) doesn't have much of a chance because they'll
either let him riff (and i think he's been out of new material for about a decade - probably about the same
time he cleaned up) or they'll write for him and he won't riff. and why would anybody want to watch robin
williams on a leash? however, i love allison janney and anna faris and the first episode of mom was
great. i laughed a lot. i also thought the pilot of back in the game with james caan was pretty good. i
like stephen merchant ok, but is he really that funny without ricky gervais? i guess we'll see.

i do like merchant, and i did not hate this show. but let's be honest: he is and always will be a supporting
character. next to a guy like gervais he is genius, on his own and in the lead he is so-so. awkwardness
only gets you so far, as this show clearly demonstrates.

then again, hbo knows how to make great uk comics less funny (gervais, chris o'dowd in family tree),
so that could be it.

i don't know i think steve is a much better comedy writer than gervais is! i like gervais but have you seen
derek? that's show is pretty poor from someone who wrote the office/extra's. hello ladies episode 1 was
better than the entire season of derek imo
