that's why she went to the states. all we need now are the guys from housos to go over their as well and
australian comedy would be much better for it.
horrible show, rebel is so unfunny and unlikeable. i don't see why she has an appeal
in
the usa when
she didn't have one in australia.
every time i see her name, i think she's probably somebody cool and funny, until i realize it's "her"
again.
she's just annoying, never really funny... guess that's a gift too.
one thing i like about her though: she looks like matt lucas' twin sister. i think i saw a movie once
where
they played siblings, and that really works, if you let lucas do the jokes/talking/acting, etc. she's
basically
matt lucas with make-up and a wig without the funny.
edit: well...seems like matt lucas is actually in this episode! on a whole, wasn't the worst first episode
i've seen in the last weeks (or today, thanks to "sean saves the world"). rebel is still annoying as hell
though, but the supporting cast isn't bad.
i hope you are right, i love american tv and it irks me when producers sell out and make shows like
this.
3 things i hate in american tv shows. 1) obvious laugh tracks, 2)flashback episodes & 3) producers
giving fat unfunny people not only praise but their own show.
oooh, i love me some rebel wilson, she's bloody hilarious!
and the show seems good so far, funny, unlike other comedy shows makes very few if any "jokes" about
the usual fat people stereotypes, gay people and nerdy asians.. well, ok, so the only asian so far is a bit
nerdy, but that's just one so far.
i'll be watching this. good on rebel for getting her own show.
