if you read the comments on the original s01e01 and s01e02, you'll see that the original release of s01e01
actually contained trophy wife, not ravenswood.

it's missing the introductory scene, why is no one able to release a proper version of this episode???

are you referring to the (last week) 'previously on' segment,?

no, s01e01 doesn't have a "previously on" segment, i'm referring to the introductory segment which shows
caleb arriving to ravenswood by bus while his voice is explaining what brought him there. this scene
exists in the release that i downloaded from tpb and i believe it's important for those people who didn't
watch the halloween episode of pll which served as a backdoor pilot to ravenswood.

i don't think it's a scene release and the file size is little small but it's watchable.

ok. this show seems to be generating a lot of chatter, but not a lot of reviews one way or the
other. my thirteen year old daughter describes this as yet another supernatural teenage angst show.
she's right.

it is however very, very similar in plot to les revenants (the returned) which is an adult rendition
of the same story. i suspect it is actually based on this production, but can only find vague
references between the two. the french version is seriously worth a watch, even if you are an angst
ridden teenager 😉. its far superior.

the sundance channel in the us has just started airing "the returned" apparently on the 1st of
november. i assume they have over dubbed the dialog in english, if not, good for them because in
the original french the dialog is seriously suspenseful and creepy. in any event if you like
ravenswood you'll love "les revenants"

i just thought i'd mention that there is nothing at all supernatural about pll or ravenswood.
