began airing on bbc2 on 31 january 2013. it is an amalgam of screenwipe and newswipe,
with sections focussing on recent news, televisions shows, and films. along with the regular
cast, it also features guests, who discuss recent events. bbc2 ordered a second series, which
should air early in 2014.

i still don't like the "american comedian" segments but it's almost an hour's worth of charlie
brooker ranting and i do like to hear him rant and rant and rant.

the "american comedian" doug stanhope, can be funny in small doses. i've only seen a few
snippets here and there and always got a good laugh, even if i didn't agree with what he was
saying. that is, until last night, i downloaded a video of his recent standup routine and aside from
a couple funny lines in the beginning, it was way over the top offensive. he is racist, sexist, anti
everybody non-white, and anti anyone who is not exactly like him...no matter how much he
prefaces or follows up his comments with telling you that he isn't. for a little while i though well
maybe this is just his shtick, his little niche in the market, but the more i watched the more i
believe he really believes the vile disgusting hate speech that flows out of his mouth...or he
doesn't believe it and he is just a really good actor. either way, he panders to sick fu*ks who do
think and believe this way.
